Connor Jones serves as a Business Development Associate with Dogwood State Bank, A Division of TowneBank Small Business Lending, where he partners with borrowers and referral partners to help deliver tailored SBA financing solutions. His experience across multiple areas of SBA lending — including portfolio management, special assets, credit underwriting, and business development — provides a well-rounded perspective that helps him support clients throughout every stage of the lending process.

Drawing on the lessons and insight gained in each role, Connor works closely with borrowers to help structure solutions that align with their goals while contributing to a smooth and seamless loan experience. He currently partners with Scott Birkner and Matt Putnam, supporting loan volume and helping ensure a high level of responsiveness and service for clients.

Connor earned his degree in Business Management from East Carolina University, where he was a four-year letter winner on the ECU Men’s Golf Team. He also completed graduate coursework at ECU, where he earned a Certificate in Marketing.

Outside of work, you can usually find Connor on the golf course or at the gym.
