Dennis started his career in SBA lending in relationship management and underwriting roles before transitioning to lending as a Business Lending Specialist. He is passionate about fueling the American Dream for small business owners throughout the US. By utilizing the SBA 7(a) and 504 loan products, Dennis is able to provide tailored lending solutions to entrepreneurs seeking financing to acquire a business, start a franchise, or purchase commercial real estate.

Over the past 6 years, Dennis has financed roughly $175 million in SBA funding for entrepreneurs all over the country. Dennis was recently a recipient of Coleman Publishing’s Emerging SBA Lender of the Year (Under 40) Award, honoring his accomplishments in SBA lending.

Dennis Wagner is a graduate of Elon University, where he double majored in Marketing and Finance. During his time at Elon, he was a member of the varsity football team where he was a three-year letter winner.

He currently lives in Richmond, VA with his wife and two children. When he is not busy working with small business owners, Dennis can be found spending time with his wife and kids, exploring the great restaurant and brewery scene in Richmond, traveling, and watching as much football as possible in the fall.
