Shaun earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration, with a concentration in Management, and his Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University. He began his career in SBA lending through a college summer internship, which led to his first role as a Portfolio Analyst in loan servicing. He later transitioned to the business development side of SBA lending.

In his current role as a Business Development Associate, Shaun partners with Business Lending Specialists to support loan volume and help ensure a smooth loan experience throughout the process. Shaun is passionate about helping small business owners access capital to start, grow, or acquire businesses, and finds this work especially rewarding due to its direct impact on local communities.

Outside of work, Shaun stays connected to East Carolina University as an engaged alumnus and enjoys playing guitar, writing music, spending time outdoors with his mini goldendoodle, Winnie, and traveling.
