With over 25 years of experience in SBA lending, Dave uses his expertise to coach and build highly successful team members. As a manger, Dave has achieved numerous successes, such as: creating a state-of-the-art marketing program designed to build brand awareness, developing and implementing an extensive sales and operations training program, and recruiting and retaining talented SBA lending teams.

Cody Porter is an SBA Sales Manager at Dogwood State Bank, A Division of TowneBank Small Business Lending, with 17 years of experience in the banking industry and the last 10 years in SBA lending and SBA sales management.

Cody has been active in the SBA community, holding Loan Review Committee appointments with multiple CDC’s in the Colorado market.  He was an SBA BDO for over 5 years in Colorado and most recently held Sales Management roles for the past 4 years.  He is excited to lead a dynamic team of Business Lending Specialists at Dogwood State Bank with the ultimate goal in SBA lending: providing access to capital to the small businesses community that we support on a day-to-day basis.

Originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, Cody now lives in Arvada, Colorado, with his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Layla.  When not working he enjoys Oklahoma State athletics, snowboarding, golfing, and seeing live music
